Catherine Aldana is an Integrative Ayurvedic Practitioner, Advanced Yoga Teacher and Designer in Chicago, Illinois. Cat teaches yoga, aerial, dance, barre and fitness classes all over the Chicagoland area. She is a Yoga Ambassador for lululemon athletica and does freelance graphic design work for the company as well. Her purpose in life is to inspire integrative health and well-being through the transformative power of beauty, grace, and ease.

She received her 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Certification in March 2014 under the guidance and instruction of Jim Kulackoski at Darshan Center. Cat graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Advertising, Art & Design and chose to pursue these two passions: Yoga & Design, in her own unique way.

Teaching yoga has given her a path to dive deeply into Vedic, Tantric, Yogic and Jin Gui systems. These studies have helped Cat identify unlimited possibility within herself and others. Her yoga teaching style is highly influenced by precise and careful alignment of the human body through strong internal integration of the bandhas. She has naturally stepped into her path as an Advanced Yoga Teacher and continues to grow on this journey of elevating people to live a fully integrated life.

In addition to teaching, Cat designs everything from magazine ads to window fronts. Her graphic design work includes brands such as lululemon, AIR®, Verizon Wireless, Wella, Playstation, National Health Service (London), Colgate and DePaul's Alumni Network. Cat believes in taking responsibility for her career development by creating and pursuing opportunities that value self-empowerment and make a lasting difference in our communities.
